American Expediting Company chose Bowhaus to help create a new logo identity focused on a more national presence. As a provider of rush and same-day package delivery services,
the company has been in business since 1983. They started out as a bicycle messenger delivery service. The industry has changed over the years and bicycle service has diminished considerably. As a result, American Expediting now provides mostly truck, or air service which has become the norm.
With American in their name, the first thing that comes to mind is red, white + blue. Imagery consisting of eagles, stars, etc., is something that was explored. The final logo identity, chosen by the client, is a nice balance between corporate and the American theme.
Below showcases the other logo concepts that were not selected. These are a varied mix of different creative avenues allowing for many options to review.
